Too many of us measure our worth in weight. Too many of us worry about calories in the middle of a meal instead of celebrating the simple joy of eating. Far too much time is spent on hating our slightest imperfections- the very imperfections that make us so beautiful and unique in the first place.
What’s the true measure of a woman?
It’s her capacity to love others. To laugh when life starts to feel too serious. To show compassion for even those who have not always been kind in return. To listen to, and appreciate, and honor her body- as it is, perfectly.

If we took all of the energy we spent on outer beauty and instead focused that energy on eradicating some of the biggest problems of our time- like poverty, gender inequality, and economic instability- what would happen?
We would change the world.
The time is now. Find a cause that rivets you. Inspire action within yourself and others.
Then go- look in the mirror.
What you see looking back at you? That’s as beautiful as it gets.
